The fire alarm had been ringing on and off for the last half an hour yet no-one moved from their seat. An announcement eventually sounded over the PA system: “Could someone from Level 2 please pick up the red phone situated outside the male or female toilets”...
Someone did, and we were then “forced” to get up and move! Although instructions as to which stairwell to use and where to meet were given, people took exit strategies into their own hands and by the time we had organised ourselves and evacuated the building, we were the last level to reach the meeting point...hmmm...what a great level!!
