Mazda Makeover!!

Oooh just got a call from my dad...my mazda is getting a new stereo system makeover!! Yeah!

Its kinda about time though...first the backlight died so the whole system had to be removed, then Ben got a CD jammed in the stacker and again the system was removed, and now the radio has died...

So...unexpectedly, my dad has decided to replace my alpine system with a new one!!

Wish I could go home and check it out now!! :)

6 months minus 1 day

So I’m sitting here, indulging in my brunch bar, feeling miserable and sorry for myself...thinking about the time when the idea of going on exchange again was first raised...

And now, its no longer just a possibility – instead, its reality...

Aarons half-way across the world – will be, for the next 6 months or so – living it up in Manchester, 7 hours of uni a week, travelling every weekend, seeing the "world", experiencing, tasting, drinking...living the life...

With him gone also goes the Sunday DVD and ironing shirt affair, the random calls when hes in need of food, the one (and possibly only, one) whos always up for yum cha rain, hail or shine...

I know its only for 6 months, but being only 1 day in, 6 months still seems a very long way away...

Spring

Theres something different – a stirring...a moving...soft, beckoning...I hear my name...

I follow – timidly...slowly – I’m not scared, or fearful...just cautious...I don’t know where its leading...

I can't believe you guys still remember every detail of that indoor soccer match against the Blue Bandits all those seasons ago! The quick throw-in Derrick made, the dive Ben took as a make-do goalie, certain people who should have "run", Mark yanking his t-shirt up and waving his arms around madly...

I love our bi-annual...(if even that)...dinners!! Totally crazy, funny and filled with laughter and jokes!
